Despite the ongoing personal and institutional initiatives and activities to establish global peace, peace-loving people around the world always have to live in uncertainty due to some global event. Therefore, it is necessary to review whether establishing global peace is possible at all. Otherwise, human civilization will fail and be confused in making the right decisions and will delay taking timely steps. The natural instinct of every person in the world is to continue to strive and struggle as much as possible to fulfill their own needs and desires. Everybody try to make agree or force others to accept their opinions and ideals. Everybody try to keep people who are less powerful and qualified than themselves, loyal and obedient to themselves. Everybody try to possess as much wealth as possible with their own power and qualifications. Everyone in the world wants to win. The victory of someone means the defeat of someone else. But accepting defeat is not human nature. Rather than accepting defeat, the desire for revenge and regain is observed among most of the people and the desire continues for a long period of time among individuals or groups or people of a community.
Although these characteristics are more or less present among all of the approximately 8.3 billion people living in the world today, the capabilities, powers, opportunities and needs of all are not equal and these characteristics change over time according to the needs of the era. Moreover, opportunities and resources in the world are not equal or infinite everywhere. Therefore, due to the differences in the powers, needs and ideologies prevailing in human civilization and because they are changing over time; debates, conflicts and wars between people and between different countries of the world are unavoidable and inevitable.
It is not impossible for a world war to be started from a regional conflict. If nuclear-armed states start using nuclear weapons in the future world war, then all the achievements of human civilization may be destroyed. If human civilization is intelligent enough, then it should be their characteristic to take necessary measures before any disaster occurs if there is a possibility of it. Since war and conflict are inevitable and humans currently have sufficient stocks of weapons with mass destruction powers in their hands, therefore, steps should be under taken immediately to ensure an internationally recognized war-free, neutral safe habitat for some people in the world before any unexpected and unpredictable disaster occurs.
Due to our negligence and indifference in this regard, human civilization may have to return to the age of shields and swords. Therefore, to keep all the achievements of human civilization intact, we should unanimously establish an internationally recognized safe and neutral zone. Such a neutral zone can be established in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pole, which are isolated due to geographical location. If every people in every country of the world, regardless of party affiliation and personal ideology, are able to reach a consensus on this issue, then it is possible to establish lasting peace in the region. If this arrangement is adopted, there is no possibility of any state, individual or institution being harmed in any way.
Even if a global conflict breaks out, the residents of internationally recognized neutral zones will play a neutral and passive role and no other country in the world will interfere in any way in the declared neutral zone. Everyone is being called upon to take steps to establish such a war-free, safe and neutral zone in the world. Perhaps one day, due to this small step of ours, human civilization may be saved from extinction. On the other hand, our negligence, indifference, unnecessary waste of time due to debate or disagreement may cause the extinction of human civilization. If it is possible to keep a group of people intact in the world through your decision, support and a small step, then this small contribution of yours will make your life worthwhile. If war ever breaks out in the whole world and you lose your life in that war, you will still be able to breathe your last with a sense of comfort. It may also be that your only child will remain intact due to being in a safe zone. Think about it; is there a need for such a safe and neutral zone in the world? It is possible if you want it.
